Low-fare bus service to Cleveland starts in summer
Starting this summer, GOGO Charters will begin offering regularly scheduled, daily bus services from Cleveland as part of a 15-city Midwest expansion. The new service promises fares as low as $10 for those who book early, similar to Megabus which operated popular routes to Cleveland prior to the pandemic.
Most of the new Midwest routes are focused on cities that have large universities like Columbus, Ann Arbor, South Bend, IN, Madison, WI and others. Even cities with smaller universities are served including Cleveland, Akron and Toledo, according to a press release and map shared this week by the national charter bus operator which is based in Atlanta.
“Anchored in key Midwest population centers, the network will encircle the region and provide daily charter bus transportation to millions of potential passengers,” said GOGO spokesman Jonathon Schneider in a written statement. “With luxurious motorcoaches departing daily, travelers will soon enjoy a refined, convenient, and connected alternative for regional travel.”
Locally, GOGO’s bus stop will be at the Cleveland Marriott Downtown Key Tower, 1360 W. Mall Dr. From there, GOGO will offer two routes — one to Columbus and another to Detroit. Connections to other cities will be possible at Columbus and Detroit.
The Cleveland to Columbus route will travel by way of Downtown Akron where buses will pick up and drop off passengers at the BLU-Tique Hotel, 1 S. Main St. This route will end at the Westin Hotel, 310 S. High St., in Downtown Columbus.

The Cleveland to Detroit route will operate via Downtown Toledo where buses will stop for passengers at the Hilton Garden Inn, 101 N. Summit St. Buses will continue on to Hotel David Whitney, 1 Park Ave., in Downtown Detroit, according to GOGO.
“Fares will start as low as $10 and will fluctuate based on trip length and availability,” Schneider said. “Passengers riding with GOGO Charters can expect an elevated travel experience with modern buses offering amenities including plush reclining seats, Wi-Fi, and onboard restrooms.”
He said GOGO Charters’ mobile app simplifies booking, provides real-time trip tracking, and delivers e-tickets for secure and convenient bookings. The company has a Web page for Cleveland and other cities. Schedules, service features and additional routes will be announced in the coming months. GOGO notes that planned routes and services are subject to change.
“With daily departures, cost-effective pricing and a focus on sustainability, GOGO Charters is redefining the regional transportation industry,” Schneider added.
Throughout 2025, GOGO Charters will introduce several new routes across American cities, establishing a nationwide network of interconnected Charter Bus Routes. Visit us at GOGOCharters.com and follow our journey @GOGOCharters.
