Latest add to Brecksville’s lifestyle center
New structures and uses keep getting added to the mixed-use lifestyle center Valor Acres at Miller and Brecksville roads in suburban Brecksville. The latest will be a Cleveland Clinic outpatient care facility, due to open in late 2027.
Following approval by the Brecksville Planning Commission June 4, construction is due to start later this year on the new four-story, 60,000-square-foot medical office building. It will rise at the northeast corner of Miller and Innovation Parkway, just east of Interstate 77.
It will have 108 exam rooms for primary care and specialty appointments in areas such as obstetrics and gynecology, vascular surgery, gastroenterology, orthopedics, endocrinology, rheumatology and nephrology, Clinic officials said.
And it will offer a full range of imaging capabilities (CT, MRI, Xray and mammography) plus physical therapy and occupational therapy, easily accessible on the building’s first floor.

The parking lot shown here will be shared with the hotel since the medical office building will be active when the hotel is not. But additional parking will be available if needed across Valor Parkway (Perspectus).
This new facility is expected to help create more than 100 new caregiver positions at Cleveland Clinic, said Brian Harte, president of Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital and Cleveland Clinic’s East Submarket, in a written statement.
“We are looking forward to offering expanded care at a new location in Brecksville, conveniently located close to home and work for many people in Northeast Ohio,” Harte said.
Construction on the Valor Acres complex has been underway since 2018. Most notably, it gained momentum when it landed Sherwin-Williams’ new 600,000-square-foot Morikis Global Technology Center.
Earlier this year, Valor Acres notched another big win. CSA Group, a global provider of testing, inspection and certification services, announced it would relocate from Independence and expand its facilities here.
Valor Acres also includes existing or planned residential, retail, businesses, a new AC Marriott Hotel, public green space and more on 90 acres located near a newly rebuilt exit ramp from I-77 onto Miller.
Valor Acres was the location of a U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs hospital from 1961 to 2011 until it relocated to Cleveland’s University Circle. The name “Valor Acres,” with its initials V.A., was chosen by the developer, DiGeronimo Companies, to honor this history.
