Bridgeworks design to be re-refined

While this redesign may be less significant than the last one, done to bring Bridgeworks’ costs in line with available financing, its impact on the residential-hotel-retail project’s $60+ million budget is not yet known.

More details are emerging about a proposed new apartment building at 1209 Fairfield Ave. in Tremont, to be called Driftwood. In addition to its inclusion of a ground-floor retail space and a larger lot, the development will be joined nearby by an expansion of the South Side Restaurant.

NEOtrans is receiving word that the proposed Bedrock megaproject in downtown’s Cleveland Gateway District may be comparable in scale to a major development in downtown Detroit. When asked how big Bedrock’s planned development in downtown Cleveland might be, two sources close to the Detroit-based firm said “Look at the Hudson’s Site.”
